Checking your
network
Explore your network
neighborhood by double clicking on your network neighborhood. You should
be able to see the other computers on your network. If you get a
'network inaccessable' error, wait about 30 seconds and try again. Sometimes it
takes a little while for the network to completely initialize the network
browser.
If you are unable to see the other computers, keep
one computer turned on and reboot the other. Repeat with the other
computer.
Try exploring from both computers again. If this
still does not work, right click on your network neighborhood and select
“Find Computer”. Type in the name of the other computer.
